Organ transplantation has revolutionized modern medicine, offering hope and renewed life to patients suffering from end-stage organ failure. It is a complex medical procedure in which a diseased or failing organ is replaced with a healthy one from a donor. Commonly transplanted organs include the heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, and pancreas.
